The Aggies took down the Nevada Wolf Pack 44-27 last Saturday in another impressive outing and have won their first three contests by 23.7 points on average. They’ve won 19 consecutive meetings with nonconference opposition, which is currently the longest streak in the entire FBS. The Aggies’ offense has been firing on all cylinders so far in 2015 as it’s averaging an impressive 46 points a game in their wins over Nevada, Ball State and Arizona State.
Quarterback Kyle Allen led the way offensively against the Wolf Pack by rushing for a touchdown and throwing four touchdown passes. He ended the game with 55 yards on the ground and 270 yards in the air. His scoring passes were to Josh Reynolds, Jeremy Tabuyo, Speedy Noil and Ricky Seals-Jones. Defensive end Myles Garrett also had a good game with 3.5 sacks. The Aggies are 4-6 against the spread in their past 10 road trips and are 6-4 straight up.

The Arkansas Razorbacks came out on the wrong end of a 35-24 decision against the Texas Tech Red Raiders last weekend as they couldn’t contain quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He rushed for a pair of touchdowns and 58 yards and also passed for another touchdown by going 26 for 30 in the air for 243 yards. It was a disappointing loss for Arkansas considering they were double-digit favorites before the kickoff. The Razorbacks have now been beaten twice at home this season by unranked underdogs.
Arkansas will need to improve in their own end if they hope to get back on the winning track. The Red Raiders gained 486 yards on them by averaging 8.4 yards each play. They’ll be facing an Aggies squad which has averaged 487.7 yards per game this campaign and racked up 535 yards in their win over Nevada. Razorbacks’ quarterback Brandon Allen will need to be at his best if they hope to emerge with a victory. Allen threw for 196 yards by going 16 for 21 in passing with two of them being for touchdowns. He was also picked off once. Arkansas is 7-3 against the spread and 6-4 straight up in their past 10 home encounters and it looks like their losing string will be extended to three on Saturday.
