The Jets will be the visiting side at their own stadium this weekend as they hope to build on last week’s win over Miami. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick will be facing a Giants’ secondary that conceded 302 yards against in the year last week against the Redskins. Fitzpatrick had his best game this campaign last week with four touchdown passes and 277 yards after completing 22 out of his 37 pass attempts. He finished the contest with a season-best passer rating of 118.9.

Wide receiver Brandon Marshall helped out with 131 yards on nine receptions and a pair of touchdowns. Eric Decker also had a god outing with 62 yards and a touchdown on five catches. If this trio can continue to click then they’ll have a good shot at a win this weekend. The Giants’ pass defense is the worst in the NFL so far this season as it allows 309.2 yards against per contest. Running back Chris Ivory carried the ball 21 times for 87 yards last week with a touchdown and could also be a key player. The Jets’ passing defense has been strong this season and that could bode well for them against the Giants’ limited offense. Opposing quarterbacks have completed 56.3 per cent of pass attempts against the Jets this campaign which is the lowest in the league in that department. The secondary is also quite good and safety Marcus Williams leads the team in pick offs with five while cornerback Darrelle Revis has three. The Jets have hone just 1-4 against the spread in their past five games.

Giants’ quarterback Eli Manning struggled last week as he was picked off three times in Washington. However, the still threw for a pair of touchdowns and 321 yards by going 26 for 51 in passing. He combined well with sophomore wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. as the latter caught nine of 18 passes and gained 142 yards. Beckham might not find the going so good this week though as he’ll be facing a strong cornerback in Darrelle Revis. Manning has won both of his last two games against the Jets, but still found the going to be pretty tough. He threw a total of three touchdown passes in the two games for 411 yards, but was picked off twice and his passing success was just 42.3 per cent.

Manning will need help from receiver Ruben Randle who caught just one pass last week, but scored a 36-yard touchdown on it. Will Tye gained 74 yards on half a dozen receptions and it looks like Manning has several good targets he can go to. Defensively, Giants and Falcons have the league’s worst pass rush with 12 sacks each. However, the Giants have racked up 14 interceptions so far to rank tied for third. The Giants are 4-0-1 against the spread in their past five meetings with the Jets and 5-0 straight up.
